Chiron Exhaust
Looks like part of the exhaust is routed into the diffuser, or its already got an exhaust leak...

It sounds like it REALLY hates being woken up.

I wouldn’t want to be the guy backing it out of a trailer with an inch of wiggle room. “Here is the car we want you to transport. The production version will cost $2.7 million. This prototype is priceless. The trailer is 2" wider than the car. If you fold the mirrors in. Don’t scratch it.”

The Veyron had 2 exhausts that were hidden in the diffuser area like above

Didn’t know that. Cool. I guess at speed there is enough velocity and heat to add enough pressure for it to be worth it?

Nah, the Veyron had those bypasses too.
It sounds very grumpy though.

not sure if it offers an advantage doing it like that, maybe working like the F1 blown diffusers?

yeah, basically. It adds energetic high velocity air into the mix which could add a net energy gain in terms of flow from the difuser...or it could be like a coanda effect adding downforce do to laminar flow on a cruved surface...not sure which it is, or if its both or neither.

Considering most of them will just be garage queens added to a collection you're probably not far off. I think the stat for veyron owners was an average of 30 cars in their collections including the bug.

It sounds like an aircraft engine, OH WAIT, because there was a 16 cylinder Turbo V-16: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chrysler_…
